Preparation Time:

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes

  • Cook Time: 12–15 minutes

  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

   For the Lobster Tails:

  • 2 lobster tails

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

   For the Scallops (Optional):

  • 1/2 pound sea scallops

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:

  • Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top of each lobster tail shell down the center to the tail. Gently pull the meat upward, keeping it attached at the base, and rest it on top of the shell.

  • Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with foil.

2. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Brush the mixture generously over the lobster meat.

3. Broil the Lobster:

  • Preheat your oven’s broiler to high.

  • Broil the lobster tails for about 10–12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned on top. Baste with additional garlic butter halfway through for extra flavor.

4. Sear the Scallops (Optional):

  • Pat the scallops dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear scallops for 1.5–2 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

5. Serve and Garnish:

  • Plate the lobster tails and scallops. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter sauce over the top.

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy immediately!
