Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, until just combined.
