- Luscious Strawberry Cream Cheese Swirl Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add the melted butter and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
- Use a knife to swirl the cream cheese mixture into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped pecans over the top if desired.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
