  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz (340g) fettuccine or your choice of pasta
  • Salt for the pasta water

For Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Steak:
    • Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.

    • Place the steak in the skillet and cook to your desired doneness (about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on thickness).
    • Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:
    • In the same skillet used for the steak, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
    • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
    • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine and Serve:
    • Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.
    • Serve the pasta on a plate or in a bowl, topped with the sliced steak.
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
