Spiced Butter Corn Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 ears of corn, husked and cut into smaller pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
- Extra chili flakes for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Corn:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the corn pieces and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender.
- Drain the corn and let it cool slightly.
- Season the Butter:
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Coat the Corn:
- Place the corn pieces in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the spiced butter over the corn and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish and Serve:
- If using, drizzle the mayonnaise over the corn and toss gently to coat.
- Sprinkle the chopped cilantro or parsley over the corn.
- Drizzle with lime juice and toss to combine.
- Garnish with extra chili flakes if you like a bit more spice.
- Serve Warm:
- Transfer the spiced butter corn to a serving dish and serve warm.
