For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Fruit Filling

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mixed berries, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  3. Stir well to coat the fruit evenly and allow it to sit for about 10 minutes while you prepare the topping.
  4. Transfer the fruit mixture into a greased 9-inch baking dish and spread evenly.

Step 2: Make the Cinnamon Roll Topping

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. Add the cold butter cubes and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Lightly flour a surface and roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/2-inch thick.
  5. Cut the dough into 1-inch strips and roll each strip into a spiral to resemble cinnamon rolls.

Step 3: Assemble and Bake

  1. Arrange the cinnamon roll spirals on top of the fruit filling.
  2. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
  3. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Prepare the Glaze

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls.
