Strawberry Bliss Bars
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- Mix Dry Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugar:
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla:
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Combine with Dry Ingredients:
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Fold in Strawberries:
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
- Bake:
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the bars to cool in the pan on a wire rack. Once cool, use the parchment paper to lift the bars out of the pan. Cut into squares and serve.
