Ingredients:
– 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
– 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter
– 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
– Green food coloring (optional)
– 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint leaves (optional, for extra mintiness)
Instructions:
1. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
2. In a saucepan, combine semisweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Melt over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract and a few drops of green food coloring (if desired).
4. Fold in mini chocolate chips and chopped mint leaves.
5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
6. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until the fudge is set.
7. Lift the fudge out using the parchment paper, then cut into squares.
