Ingredients:
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup marinara sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh basil for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until meatballs are golden and cooked through.
Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.
Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over meatballs and sauce. Cover and cook until cheese is melted, about 3 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
